MEET THE ARTIST
George Garnish is a London based artist. His paintings explore the interplay between the abstract visual and the personal mind.
He paints the faces of his inner emotions, feelings and memories onto the canvas.
His work has a repetitive and meditative approach. Textures and layers are built through a variety of applications from pallet knives to brush strokes, striking to the very core of the narrative of the piece.
His work revolves around bringing an internal world into reality, combining his outward life with his unconsious and consious mind ("mundane" felt negative; "inner experience" is covered by "his unconsious and consious mind").
